Let's start at the beginning.  My $job switches from one vpn to another.  The 'nother doesn't have a client for Linux.  At first I thought it would be amusing to write my own client but after some brief investigation decided I really don't need another hard task right now.  So I decide to just run a virtual instance of XP.  I very much respect RedHat and tried their current favorite, KVM.  It doesn't work on my hardware.  :-(  So then I spend about 15 hours trying to get Xen to work.  No luck.  Every step is a chore and I'm just not in... ... read more >>> newmag.wordpress.com
